  • How to Apply for Free DICT VA Services Level III Training in NCR

    By randy →

If becoming a virtual assistant has been on your mind, you may be looking for a place to learn and gain experience. The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has opened applications for free VA Services Level III Training for qualified residents of the National Capital Region.

DICT, in partnership with Aboitiz Foundation and BELART, has opened 75 scholarship slots for Virtual Assistant (VA) Services Level III training. The program will run in three batches, use a hybrid training format, and include on-the-job training (OJT) with industry partners.

    What will you learn?

Virtual Assistant work can involve communicating with clients, using office applications, managing calendars and emails, and organizing projects with digital tools. These are among the skills covered by TESDA’s VA Services Level III competency standard.

The training is free, but submitting an application does not guarantee a slot or a job. Applicants will go through screening and selection.

    Who may apply?

    You should:

    • Be an NCR resident aged 18 or older.
    • Have access to a laptop or desktop computer and stable internet.
    • Be willing to complete the training and OJT.
    • Be interested in working in the digital economy.
    • Have a TESDA BSRS registration, or complete and verify it as instructed during screening.

The announcement gives preference to applicants from priority sectors, including women, solo parents, out-of-school youth, persons with disabilities, and overseas Filipino workers. Other qualified NCR residents may also apply.

    How to apply

    • Complete the application form, or scan the QR code on the DICT poster.
    • Take the English and typing tests and complete or verify your TESDA BSRS registration.
    • If you pass the tests, watch for an email explaining the next assessment stage, including the virtual interview.
    • If selected, follow the organizers’ instructions for endorsement to training and document submission.

Use an active email address and check your spam or junk folder regularly. Applicants who pass the English and typing tests will receive their next instructions by email.

    Documents to prepare if selected

The poster lists the following for selected participants. Follow the organizers’ instructions on when to submit them:
